Art Skogsberg - CIC, LIC
Managing Partner

Art is a principal of the agency and is responsible for sales and marketing of commercial, personal, life and health insurance products. He has more than 35 years of insurance industry experience. Art served in the Army for over 4 years working in the Staff Judge Advocate Office. Art is involved in programs for kids with special needs including the local Challenger Little League, acting as coach for one of the league teams. He and his family are members of St. John Bosco Parish in Mattawan. In his spare time Art enjoys golf, woodworking and Tae Kwon Do where he holds a 5^th degree Black Belt.

Tom Magrath
Managing Partner

Troy McClure - CIC, CRM
Agent 

Troy is responsible for sales and marketing of commercial, personal, life insurance, and annuity products. He has more than 15 years of experience in the independent insurance setting. Troy most recently ran his own insurance agency office before joining the Minor Field Agency.  Troy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Calvin College. He serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors at the Home Builders Association of Greater Kalamazoo; as well as on the Executive Committee, the Ethics Committee and Chairman of the Community Events Committee for the Kalamazoo Home Builders Association.  Troy is involved at Westwood Little League as a coach.  He and his family are members of Third Christian Reformed Church in Kalamazoo where he has served as an Elder and a junior high youth group leader. In his spare time Troy enjoys golfing, hunting, traveling and time with his family. 

Danielle Fletcher
Administrative Assistant

Danielle has been in customer service for the past ten years. Prior to working at Minor Field, Danielle was a caregiver for the elderly in a retirement community. She resides in Portage with her husband, Mark. She and her husband attend Lake Center Bible Church in Portage where they lead the local missions team for Kalamazoo County. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys paper crafting and cooking, as well as kayaking and rock climbing with her husband.

Stacey Magrath
Commercial Lines Agent

Stacey has been with the Minor Field Agency for 13 years. She is a Commercial Lines Account Representative and Risk Manager. Stacey received an undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and a graduate degree from the University of Phoenix. She resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She and her three children attend Valley Family Church. In her spare time Stacey enjoys participating in triathlons, playing volleyball and traveling.

Sheryn LeDuc
Commercial Lines Agent

Sheryn joined Minor Field Agency as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent.  Sheryn has over 20 years experience in the commercial insurance industry and looks forward to providing excellent service to her customers on a daily basis.   Sheryn resides in Plainwell, Michigan and in her spare time enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Christy A Surdy
Personal Lines Agent

Christy has been a personal lines Resident Agent for the past 21 years. She has been with the Minor Field Insurance Agency for 7 of those years. Christy enjoys servicing and talking to her clients on a daily basis.  She and her family reside in Paw Paw, Michigan where they have lived for the past 38 years. Christy has 3 grown children, 2 grandchildren and one on the way. Christy is very proud of the tireless hours she put in working to create the “Kid’s Paradise” playground in Paw Paw. Christy and her husband enjoy playing golf, board games and traveling with her very dear friends. 

Ramona Kramme
Health & Life Agent

Ramona is currently in the Minor Field Agency's Health & Life Department.  She has 12 years of experience in health insurance.  Ramona is a licensed producer for health and life insurance and earned her degree in Accounting.  Prior to working in insurance, she worked in the medical field.  Ramona enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening and visiting art galleries.
